Mothers' Day Outing!!

Well, I have just arrived home from Townsville where I had a wonderful Mothers' Day lunch with Michael as well as C, D and K. (as they wish to be known on this site!!!) C booked a table at Bistro 51 which was inside and lovely and cosy as today was a cooler and rainy day.

It was great to have D with us as he had travelled down from Cairns for the weekend...to take K out "on the town" for his 18th birthday and of course, because it was Mothers' Day today.

My photos show me with my wonderful three kids, the second is a photo of my new warm comfy slippers and two of the four lovely new coffee cups I received from C and K. D's pressie is in the mail as he didn't know he would be seeing me today! Tiffany looked so elegant perched on the chair, that I had to include her in the photo. AND in the photo is a plate of Melting Moments I cooked yesterday to take in for Mothers' Day today BUT forgot and left them behind. Probably a good thing because they taste horrible actually. The third photo is my delicious meal of mushroom and spinach risotto. Yum!!

Well I think that I am the luckiest Mum in the whole wide world!!

Thanks for a beaut Mothers' Day!!

  1. ARGH - I wrote a long post then realized I probably didn't hit post. I always hit return by mistake! Love your photos, your kids are beautiful. They look so young, just like their mom. :-) Dinner is making me hungry. Wonder if I could have risotto for breakfast. hmmmm

Your cat is posing so beautifully! A photo right out of a magazine I'd say. Love it!
