Mum also made a wonderful speech.

Melanie, my brother's daughter who has worked as a magician's assistant all around Australia, did one of her acts where she does quick changes into different costumes. I sure cannot figure out how she does it. Afterwards she draped Mum and Dad with the feather boas.

My Parent's 80th Birthday

This year my parents, Val and Dave both turn 80. Wonderful. Dad's birthday was on the 5 August and Mum's is still to come on the 12 September.
Our family held a special dinner for them on the 6 August where we celebrated with friends and all of the family except for my brother's son, Trent who had committed himself much earlier on to special dance teaching weekend.
